Mi 10 Lite 5G has been launched as the most affordable 5G smartphone by Xiaomi. The new model comes with a waterdrop-style display notch. This is unlike the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro phones, both of which pack a hole-punch display design. However, similar to its higher-end siblings, the Mi 10 Lite 5G comes with the quad rear camera setup. The smartphone also has a gradient-finish back panel and 5G support. The Mi 10 Lite 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC.

The Mi 10 Lite 5G features a 6.57-inch AMOLED TrueColor display with the waterdrop-style notch. Under the hood, the phone has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. Details about the RAM and storage capacity aren't revealed, though. The smartphone has the quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
The smartphone also comes preloaded with features such as Night mode 2.0, AI Dynamic Skyscraping, and Vlog mode. Furthermore, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi has provided a 4,160mAh battery on the Mi 10 Lite 5G that supports 20W fast charging. The smartphone also supports Quick Charge 3.5. Besides, it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Mi 10 Lite Features
Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a waterdrop display, which offers amazing visuals. The device features everything and offers a great performance overall. It has a long-time power backup, which can be refilled easily. The camera is equally good with high-resolution lenses and an impressive front sensor. It also houses ample storage but there is no expansion.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Design and Display
The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro look very similar, with screens that curve at the edges and that is broken up by punch-hole cut-out cameras in the top left of the display.
On the backside, there is a camera bump in the top left corner, although the lenses spill off the bump and onto the flat of the body. Each smartphone has a wide range of colors available, judging by marketing material.
The display could impress many people. Both devices have a 6.67-inch 1080 x 2340 OLED screen with HDR10+, and they both also support a screen refresh rate of 90Hz, to make content and motion look a bit smoother.
We will have to test the screen when we get our hands on these devices but it seems pretty decent on paper.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has a slightly smaller 6.57-inch AMOLED screen, but in general, it looks rather similar to the Mi 10. It does have an in-screen fingerprint sensor which is not a given for devices at a low price tag.
Camera
The rear camera is 13 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8 and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. The front camera is 8 megapixels and features a single LED flash. Features like the ISO, white balance, shutter speed can be altered. Image quality is not too great.
Chipset and Processor
The device is equipped and powered by an Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM with 64-bit architecture. The chipset is the HiSilicon Kirin 710. Both variants available are 4GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage. The 64GB internal memory can be expanded to up to 512 GB. The operating system is the Android 9.0 (Pie) The graphical processor Mali-T830 MP2 GPU provides an excellent gaming experience. Its battery power is 3400 mAh and is Li-Polymer.
Connectivity
The Dual SIM phone has Nano-SIM slots that support 4G as well as VoLTE. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM radio. SIM 1 is Nano while SIM 2 is Nano Hybrid.
Other Specifications

Mi 10 Lite Price
The Mi 10 Lite 5G price is set at EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 29,200). The smartphone will be available for purchase in European markets starting early May in four distinct color options. However, availability details for the Indian market are yet to be revealed.
Alongside the Mi 10 Lite 5G, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in Europe. The Mi 10 comes with a starting price tag of EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 66,800) for the 8GB +128GB storage variant, while its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at EUR 899 (roughly Rs. 75,200). In contrast, the Mi 10 Pro carries a price tag of EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 83,500) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
Both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro were unveiled in China last month with a starting price of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 42,200). The Mi 10 was also set to launch in India on March 31. However, the company recently postponed the launch due to the nationwide lockdown that was imposed to limit the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
